How to Enable Birthday Notifications

Birthday Reminder Widget sends you notifications so you never miss a birthday. For notifications to work, they must be enabled both in the app and in your device settings.

Step 1: Check App Notification Settings

1. Open the Birthday Reminder Widget app.

2. Go to Settings (gear icon).

3. Make sure Notifications are turned on.

4. Choose your preferred reminder time (e.g., the day before, the morning of, etc.).

Step 2: Check Device Settings

On Android

1. Open Settings > Apps > Birthday Reminder.

2. Tap Notifications.

3. Make sure notifications are enabled.

4. Ensure the notification sound is set (not silent).

On iPhone (iOS)

1. Open Settings > Notifications > Birthday Reminder.

2. Toggle Allow Notifications on.

3. Enable Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners as desired.

4. Make sure Sounds is toggled on.

Step 3: Send a Test Notification

After enabling notifications:

1. Return to the Birthday Reminder app.

2. Go to Settings.

3. Tap Send Test Notification.

4. You should receive a notification within a few seconds.
