How Your Data and Contacts Are Handled
Understand what data Birthday Reminder collects and how it's stored.
Birthday Reminder Widget is designed with your privacy in mind. Here's exactly what happens with your data.
Contact Access
When you import birthdays from your phone's contacts:

The app process only the contacts you select — it does not store or process your entire contact list.

For each selected contact, only the name and birth date are extracted.

This data is stored on your device and is securely synced to Birthday Reminder database on Google Firebase. This is required to allow backup and cloud sync across devices.
Birthday Data

All birthday entries you create manually are also stored locally on your device and synced to the cloud.

If you sign in with Google or Apple, your data may be synchronized to provide access across devices. This sync is handled securely through the respective platform.
What We Don't Do

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

We do not store your complete contact list.

We show zero ads, so your data is never used for ad targeting.
